Madrid is the capital of Spain, the largest city. But, for some reason, tourists often go to Barcelona, Valencia or Tenerife.
In this big video, I want to understand what is wrong with Madrid and why this is happening.

In 3.5 days I saw most of the classic sights of Madrid: the Royal Palace and Almudena Cathedral, Plaza Mayor and Puerta del Sol, the Prado Museum and others.
But, besides that, I visited the modern quarter of Madrid with skyscrapers, near the Santiago Bernabeu, climbed the steepest lookout in the city (the Riu Plaza Hotel), the roof bar next to the House of Communication, and Cerro del Tio Pio Park, where locals meet sunsets.

And then there was the temple of Debod, the oldest restaurant in the world and much more.

All in all it was a great trip :)

Madrid, for me personally, unexpectedly turned out to be a huge bustling city.

In the video there will be several non-obvious areas where it is worth taking a walk.

To summarize, the capital of Spain turned out to be a city worth visiting. In my ideal plan, I would settle in the Latin Quarter, wander around the center and look at the sights of Madrid, then go to the observation deck at the Riu Plaza hotel, and watch the sunset near the Temple of Debod.
