My good friend, fishing mentor and GOAT of the South Florida flats fishing community, passed away way too soon. His laugh was contagious, his generosity was second to none and his ability to find and put you on fish was nothing short of remarkable. He was an amazing family man and beamed when talking about his wife and children. On this episode, my wife and I attended his memorial service out on biscayne bay with 100 other boats and I got a chance to speak and cry more than I ever imagined. We said our heart felt goodbyes and decided to try and catch a sailfish in honor of Joe. God speed my friend. We miss you every day.
