Fairfax County leaders are still refusing to honor ICE immigration detainers and the county is releasing violent offenders, who are in the country illegally, back into Fairfax County.

Virginia Attorney General Jason Miyares called on Virginia sheriffs to cooperate with federal immigration officials in an interview with 7News and in a new legal opinion issued in September.
