This carb is no different than any other small 4 stroke gas engine carb. There's no need to over complicate this simple cleaning technique. Don't mess with the diaphragms, needle adjustments, or mixture screws.

Remember, if it ran good before sitting a long time, why would you need to play with adjustments? That's only compensating for a dirty, plugged up carb! Clean up the components that were sitting in the old fuel and you'll be good to go.
