Hazelnut Roll
They were so soft and delicious.
My dough recipe is from the cinnamon roll recipe I shared with you before. Those who have tried it know that it is a delicious dough. Try it, you will not regret it 😉

The size of the glass I use is 200 ml

Ingredients:
200 ml milk
55 g butter (about 2 tablespoons)
70 g sugar (half a glass)
2 packets vanilla sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1 egg
450-550 g flour / about 3.5 to 4 cups (add a little if necessary)
20 g fresh yeast or 1 packet dry yeast

For the filling;
130 g hazelnut powder
150 g crushed hazelnuts
50 g melted butter
6 tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
8-9 tablespoons milk

For the icing:
150 g caster sugar (a little over 1 cup)
4 tablespoons milk

One egg yolk for glazing
Preparation:
Heat the milk and butter in a saucepan until the butter melts. Then let it cool until lukewarm. Put the flour, sugar, eggs, vanilla sugar in a bowl and crumble the yeast. Add the milk mixture and get a smooth dough. The dough should be soft. You will get better results if it sticks slightly to your hand. It is useful to add flour control. Cover it and let it ferment for 1 hour in a warm place.

Mix all the ingredients for the filling. It should have a consistency that is not too fluid but applicable.

Then place the dough on a floured work surface and roll it out into a rectangular shape. Spread the hazelnut filling evenly on the dough. Then roll it up on the long edge and cut it into slices 2-3 cm thick. Place it on a greased or parchment-lined baking sheet, cover it again and let it rise for another 30 minutes.

Brush with egg yolk and bake the buns in a preheated oven at 180°C top/bottom (no fan) for about 18-20 minutes.
For the glaze, mix the milk and caster sugar.
Pour the sauce over the warm buns and serve. Enjoy 😋
