NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) — David Lochridge, a former employee at OceanGate and whistleblower, feels like the Titan submersible implosion tragedy that killed five people could have been avoided if someone listened to his litany of safety complaints.

Lochridge, the former OceanGate operations director, had concerns about the company's practices since the beginning. He raised them. No one listened. After being fired from OceanGate in 2018, Lochridge became a whistleblower at the Occupational Safety and Health Administration. Still, his concerns were never directly addressed.
