It’s commonly known that the conjunctions who and which are often substituted by that in relative clauses. But we also know that sometimes this substitution may sound pretty weird and we just don’t use it. Unfortunately, we often don’t understand why we do that.

If you are an English learner, this video will explain to you if you can substitute which and who by that in all cases. Also, I will make several examples so that you can see how it actually works in live language.
