In Susukino, Sapporo City, Hokkaido, we would like to introduce the famous Nigirimeshi restaurant, which is open 24 hours a day, where you can eat freshly made onigiri anytime, drink sake, and also have snacks and cream stew. The location is 300 meters or 4 minutes walk from Susukino Station on the Sapporo Municipal Subway Namboku Line.

Nadai Nigirimeshi has both a face-to-face sales area for take-out and an inside store where you can eat-in.This time, we used eat-in.

The left side of the store is a counter seat with chairs for 5 people. On the right side, there are two box seats for groups. Immediately to the right of the counter seats, there is a cold pot, a cup and a teacup below it, and a beer server standing by next to it. On the counter, there are towels, chopsticks, toothpicks, shichimi chili pepper, soy sauce, and a menu. The counter has an outlet and a USB port for charging.

There is a wide variety of rice balls on the menu, and most of the menus come with a choice of salt or soy sauce. In addition to rice balls, the food menu also includes drinks, soups, and meals, as well as cream stew. There is also an oden menu, and in addition to single items, there are two set menus. Alcohol is also available on the drink menu, and it's nice to be able to drink alcohol when restaurants and bars are not open, especially from 5 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Personally, I would choose Sujiko's salt nigiri, but I ordered cream cheese mountain wasabi and Sujiko's salt nigiri. In every bite, the ratio of rice and toppings in the onigiri is almost the same, and you can enjoy the taste of the toppings, rice, and seaweed all in one until the very end.

Since I visited on a cold morning in late autumn, I had the oden with egg, radish, and mochi pouch. Also, I was really interested in the cream stew at the rice ball shop. Contains potatoes, carrots, corn, and shimeji mushrooms, and is topped with powdered parsley for a slightly spicy and delicious dish.

The salted sujiko nigiri was so delicious that I ate another one as a final meal and was very satisfied with the filling of the sujiko.
