Here is a Video of the construction of My wood fired oven. The build took approximately a year to build with a combination of recycled and new refractory bricks, high temperature cement, perlite, high temperature tiles, ceramic fibre blanket and calcium silicate board. Some of the recycled bricks came from a demolished chimney in Northcote Victoria, Box hill train station and many various other recycled items that have seen a long history in Melbourne Victoria. Part of a retaining wall had to be removed to fit the oven and a deck was put in place to create the entertainment area. A trammel was used to create the dome radius. a lot of readings and information were from You tube videos, a lot of food inspiration was from Vincenzo's plate    • ITALIAN COOKING SHOW | Welcome to My ...   and the Woodfired oven chef    • Ep 1. An introduction to Wood Fired O...   I hope you enjoy the build. also it is not a professional build I am not a brick layer or stone mason I have had some experience in laying small garden beds and stone work but never on this scale. I hope you enjoy the build.
