This video shares the experiences of Barney Curley, a professional horse racing gambler from Ireland who routinely landed betting coups that cost the bookmakers millions. He was most famous for the Yellow Sam betting coup in 1975.
Sadly Barney Curley passed away this week (1939 - 2021). Many will remember Barney Curley for the explosive reaction he gave on At The Races when pressured about a horses behaviour. He was also a friend and mentor to Frankie Dettori, Tom Queally and Willie Mullins.
