In this video, I have put together some clips of Cork Harbour depicting the Granuaile irish lights vessel, the spit bank lighthouse and the Roches Point lighthouse.

Granuaile has been in service since 2000. A multifunctional vessel with a helicopter landing pad, her primary function is to fit and service offshore buoys.

The spit bank lighthouse was constructed in 1851 by blind engineer Alexander Mitchell. The structure is supported by 9 cast iron screwpiles which was pioneering technology at the time.

Roche's Point Lighthouse is situated at the entrance to Cork harbour. It was constructed in 1835.
