BBC Presenter Alex Lovell became the target of a stalker who for four years harassed her through letters and threatened her with rape. It's Stalker Awareness Week and as such Alex hopes to help people identify the signs of being stalked and to not just get used to and ignore it. After years of explicit and threatening letters, the man was finally identified and arrested, allowing Alex to feel safe to leave her home alone, saying it was liberating. She urges people to speak up and be aware, as stalking always starts with something small and then escalates.
