Kinmen is an archipelago 1.8km away from mainland China made up of 15 small islands. In the past, it was off limits to outsiders because of the war with China, but it is peaceful now that the gunfire has ceased. Kinmen is famous for its Kaoliang liquor, so we visit a Kaoliang liquor distillery known for their exquisite taste from fermented sorghum. Kinmen is left with traces of war.
