Mount Dickerman hike, completed July 5, 2024.

While the first half of the hike up can be grueling, the rewards are absolutely worth it. This has become one of my favorite trails in Washington, and will surely be an annual summit. Today I saw two toads (names courtesy of the Whale Hiker) and got to deal with trudging over some slushy snow remnants. It was incredibly clear today, and the surrounding Cascade peaks along the Mountain Loop Highway were really showing off. I am surprised, but thankful, that this hike is not more popular than it is.
