Who is Reina? Reina's my reason for waking up every Tuesday and Friday! She's like my second mother. She's a manager at my job. I've known her since 2012/2013 when I worked at the mall and she was working at the cafe mall location.

We started working in the same location when a manager quit at her location. They needed a new manager that also spoke spanish so I got promoted and went to work there. However, since it was a very very slow location, that meant only one manager per shift. which meant we never got to really work together.

when covid hit, it made our location permanently close and they moved us all to my old location. however, right before we returned I asked to be demoted as being a manager gave me too much anxiety. this helped me to start working shifts with her.

even tho I had known her for so many years before I started working for the cafe, I still didn't know her well enough. and working together we both found out the other watched Asian dramas. I will never forget her reaction when I first showed her my wangxian edits. we were so happy to have someone who was also into cql. it wasn't long when I found out she was also a 🐢 I was on the fence all of 2020 about that, but she was happy once I finally became a turtle too. now it's two years later and we're still obsessed with cql, wangxian, and yizhan. and I hope we never stop loving them. I believe it really helped us become closer.
