Phil Bozek is demonstrating a precision spot landing in his TBM. The target touch down is the beginning of the "Aiming Point" markings. The "Aiming Point" are the two solid white stripes on the runway typically 1000 ft from the approach end. The aiming point is 150 ft long.

It is quite important to reduce speed so that the pitch attitude is flat or slightly above the horizon. Notice the trim is close to full up! Aim for a touch down prior to the TD point and then stretch the flare to the TB point. Minimal release of the back pressure will touch her down with precision.

Phil touched down 86 ft prior to target. Very very good!
