Let’s easily make tofu at home using only soybeans, nigari, and water. Homemade tofu has a rich flavor with the sweetness of freshly squeezed soybeans you can't get from store-bought tofu. This video will introduce how to make tofu at home (for 2 blocks of tofu).

0:08 Ingredients
- 280g Soybeans
- 20ml Nigari (or Tofu Coagulant)
- Tofu Press Box

0:21 Other tools
- Thermometer
- Sieve
- Ladle
- Blender
- 2 Cooking cloth (Strainer Cloth and Sash Bag)

Steps:
0:41 Step 1 Wash the soybeans
0:56 Step 2 Soak the soybeans in water
1:38 Step 3 Drain the water from the soybeans
1:45 Step 4 Blend the soybeans
2:13 Step 5 Boil the blended soybean juice
2:30 Step 6 Put straining cloth over a sieve
2:41 Step 7 Strain soybean juice to get soymilk
2:48 Step 8 Press to get the rest of the soymilk
3:05 Step 9 Warm the soymilk
3:20 Step 10 Prepare the nigari
3:30 Step 11 Slowly pour the nigari mixture into the soymilk
3:50 Step 12 Prepare tofu press
4:20 Step 13 Pour the tofu curd into the tofu press
4:40 Step 14 Close the tofu press and add weight
