Meanwhile, the India Meteorological Department has issued a yellow warning for at least 12 Odisha districts over the next three hours.Light to moderate rain/thundershower likely to affect some parts of the districts of Bhadrak, Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapara, Balasore, Cuttack, Khordha, Rayagada, Gajapati, Dhenkanal, Mayurbhanj, Ganjam and Puri within next three hours," the IMD bulletin said.

A letter in this regard has been sent to the officials of all the nine states by the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution.
