Our VP, Tim Tyler, spoke to Jonathan Gilbert PhD about the psychology, behaviour and activity of a fraudster, and how we can best respond to these challenges.

Jonathan Gilbert was convicted for a series of fraud offences, committed whilst he was serving the community as a solicitor. He served time in prison, but since then, has researched fraud to Master’s and PhD levels, supported regulators and government departments in developing policy, and contributed to wider anti-fraud measures.

There is, however, an opportunity – through conversations such as this – to learn from past mistakes to better enable compliance professionals to manage the future threat.
