Tokyo Travel Vlog | What I Ate, Shopping & Community Meet-up!

Hello from Tokyo!

As many of you may know, Japan is one of our absolute favorite places to go, so this year we decided to celebrate Max and Jasons' birthdays here together! Every trip we take to Japan is so special because every time it is a little different. Some trips it is spent visiting our matcha farm for Nekohama, while other trips it is dressing up as Pikachu for Halloween and running around the city with your best friends! Anyways, I feel Japan is one of those places where you go and just feel instantly lighter, inspired, and more clear. It truly feels like another home away from home.

I feel like I sometimes get caught up in my daily routine back home in LA and find myself hitting a funk when it comes to creativity. Instead of putting more pressure on myself to why I am in a funk or feeling out of it, I am now working more on finding a better balance in taking some time off and away to reset mentally. For me, sometimes all it takes is getting out of my routine and just stepping outside my environment. Now, this doesn't mean you have to travel all the way across the world of course, it could be as simple as having a staycation or visiting friends and family. Wherever that that safe place is for you, I encourage you to go there every now and then to do a reset for yourself, as it is much, much needed.
