I speak with Emmy nominated writer/director Julio Torres about his debut feature film Problemista.

Told as a surrealist fairy tale, the film follows a young aspiring toy designer from El Salvador named Alejandro, who struggles to survive in New York City after getting fired from his day job. In a desperate attempt to keep his work visa, he finds himself working for an erratic - and equally problematic - art-world outcast.

The film is distributed by A24 and stars Torres, Tilda Swinton, RZA, Greta Lee, and more!
