The Onehunga Branch has had an interesting history, particularly in the late seven years, having gone from a derelict branch line to a modern rail network showing off Auckland's flagship electric trains. In this special video, we look at the history of the branch, as well as various stages of the introduction of electric multiple units into service on the branch and the rest of the Auckland network.

This was originally planned to be shown at a Railway Enthusiasts Society meeting, however due to a series of unfortunate events it never was, so I've uploaded it here instead.
