It was a gloomy day with some rain in the forecast, but we decided to head out anyway. I ended up catching close to 50 Rock Bass (10 keepers) and 2 Smallies. Every Memorial Day weekend, the entire family goes up to the cabin, and we usually have a big fish fry, so the big keeper Rock Bass were a nice bonus. This is about the only time of the year I actually keep fish. 99% of the time, it's catch and release. Just dragging the dropshot was all that was needed this day.
