The Chinese Youth Society of Melbourne performs the Five Elements Cycle Lion Dance at the Bendigo Easter Festival.
This performance is inspired by the regenerative elements in Chinese philosophy (wood, fire, earth, metal & water). Each element is represented by a symbolic object and a banner representing wood, fire, earth, metal and water. The performance is a blessing of balance and harmony in the year of the Wood Dragon.
