In this video I'm turning a bit of a burl (I'm pretty certain it's cherry) into a shallow dish. First time turning a burl, and, while it's not the most fantastic or chatoyant burl, it was quite fun to turn.
I've previously had some bad luck with bowl turning: bowl splitting after turning, weird grain that just won't sand smooth, but this time, I think I nailed it. One of my best bowls to date.
