On May 5th, 6th, and 7th I made my way up to the Cass Scenic Railroad to experience rail heritage weekend for the first time and it was the best event I've ever been too. We got the opportunity to ride on the first public excursion from Cass to Durbin since 1985 which was an unbelievable experience. On Friday we got to do a shop tour and take a look at all of the equipment and on Saturday we road from Cass to Durbin and to finish up on Sunday we road between Cass and Whittaker. The stars of the show were Shay 11 which is turning 100 years old this year and Shay 5. Both put on a show and did not disappoint Shay 11 was wearing a Lunk 3 Chime and 5 was wearing the Homemade 3 Chime.
