In 1996, Jackie Stewart announced he would be back on a Formula One grid. Not as a driver because he was nudging 60 and that would have been a bit weird. But he was going to be part of a new team with his son and with backing from Detroit.

After two seasons of DNF Central, Stewart hit the jackpot in 1999 when they won their first race and pulled off some sensational results. Then Ford took over. So it makes you wonder: What would have happened if Stewart stuck around a bit longer as they already had done? Answers on a postcard...
