In this video we see some buses at the new Lilydale station, which is the terminus of the Lilydale Line in Melbourne's north east. The new station which opened in November 2021 features a new on-street interchange immediately outside the station on William Street East & West, as well as a couple of bus stops along the Maroondah Highway.
The station is served by routes buses on routes 663, 670, 677, 679, 680, 683, 684, 685, the Lilydale Flexiride, and the 965 Nightbus. Ventura operates suburban services around the area, with Martyrs and McKenzies Tourist Service operating routes 683 and 685 buses towards the peri-urban areas of Warburton and Healesville respectively. We also catch a McKenzies' bus on the illusive route 684 bus towards Eildon.
Ventura buses seen include Volvo B7RLE's, Scania K280UB's, Scania K310UB's with Volgren 'CR228L' and Volgren 'Optimus' bodies. We also see some Dennis Dart SLF's and a Designline CBS - Cummins on FlexiRide services. We also see some McKenzies' Mercedes Benz O500LE's and Martyrs' Scania K310UB's with Express and Volgren 'Optimus' bodies.
