Decided to take a walk to Centro on a Saturday, a little after noon. I walked from Café Bar Rex, at the beginning of Avenida Presidente Vargas, all the way to the Lapa Carioca Aqueduct. There's a chill vibe on the streets and people are out and about enjoying their Saturday. It felt pretty safe, but as I always say, "Rio is as dangerous as you make it".
