Tamilnadu is the tressure of folk dance and folk songs. Oyilattam is one of the beautiful dance of folk dances. In farmers day celebration at Velampatti village some enthusiastic children were dancing oyilattam. They kept colourful hand kerchiefs in their hands and shaking them with some movements to the song and beats. Kadhiravan TV shot that dance for our viewers.
நாட்டுப்புற நடனக் கலைகளில் ஒயிலாட்டம் ஓர் அழகான கலை. தமிழகத்தில் இது ஆண்களுக்கான நடனமாக கருதப்படுகிறது. கைகளில் வண்ண வண்ண துணிகளை வைத்துக் கொண்டு ஆண்கள் சுற்றிலும் நின்று நடனம் ஆடுவது ஒயிலாட்டம். திண்டுக்கல் மாவட்டம் நத்தம் அருகில் உள்ள வேலம்பட்டியில் நடைபெற்ற விவசாயிகள் தின விழாவில் மாணவர்கள் தஞ்சாவூரு உருமி மேளம் என்ற பாடலுக்கு ஒயிலாட்டம் ஆடினர். திண்டுக்கல் பூபதியின் ஸ்ரீ இன் வின் இசைக்குழுவினர் மிகச் சிறப்பாக இசையமைத்துப் பாடினர்.
