Just purchased the 60 teeth, thin kerf, Diablo, fine finish table saw blade and thought I'd test it out. Will it make a difference? Will it prevent that chip out problem I always have with plywood? Is it a good buy? To test how well this Diablo blade cuts I started by making several cuts with my factory Ridgid table saw blade. I cut some 1/2" plywood with the grain and against the grain, I also cut some, what I think is cherry wood, and some 1.5" douglas fir. Then I replaced the blade with the new Diablo blade and compared all the cuts.
