My wife and I set off up this popular scrambling route in sunshine, finally reaching the start of the scramble just as the heavens opened! We decided to go ahead with the route, which was great fun and plenty wet enough anyway with the various waterfalls, and we were blessed with a beautiful sunset as we reached the Kinder Scout plateau.
