Growth of yellow varieties like PALORA is very slow 2 Feet in one year , so grafting is done for its faster growth and also for multiplying plants faster when you have rare varieties. As for growing a full cutting you need atleast 6 inches cutting, where as from that 6 inch cutting you can make 6 grafted plants
