How to Create a Happiness Zone at Home?
Materials Needed:
A transparent jar
Smiley face sticker or decorations to make the jar cheerful
Small treats (like chocolates, toffees, raisins, or nuts)

1. Set Up the Happiness Jar:
Find a clear jar and place it in a spot where everyone in the family can easily reach it.
Decorate the jar with a smiley face or any fun design to make it inviting.

2. Introduce the Activity:
Tell your family that every time they feel happy, they can drop a small treat into the jar.
Encourage everyone to add as many treats as they want—every time they feel a moment of joy, they get to add one!

3. Observe and Reflect:
Watch as the jar fills up throughout the week.
At the end of the week, gather the family for a quick talk about the experience. Ask questions like:
What made you happy this week?
How did it feel when the jar was empty compared to when it’s filling up?
What can we do to make it fill up even more?

4. Extend the Fun:
Share the idea with friends or neighbors and see how they use their jars.
Keep track of who adds the most or least treats and talk about what can make everyone feel more joyful.

5. Optional Challenge:
Try doing this activity during a break or over the summer and see if the family can work together to fill the jar even faster!

This activity is a fun way to share experiences from day-to-day moments. Its a great way to connect with each other in the family, showing them how much you love and care for them.

For a twist, try doing it at work and at school and change the treats as per your taste.

Best wishes and Keep smiling!
