this man munehiro kugimiya really helped a nation hone an athlete become a world champion a first and would be a long time before another athlete becomes a world champion. artistic gymnastics is crowded with long lines of russians, chinese and japanese world class champions ...hard even to break into their level. but munehiro saw and was able to coach and produce a talent that was beyond expectations....on carlos yulo's part his oozing energy and world class talent and dedicated efforts payed off finally....the rest is history. thank you for HELENE and FIG for the footages I used on this video.
UPDATE. The fruits of hardwork, intense passion has finally bore 2 OLYMPIC GOLD MEDALS at the paris 2024 olympics in artistic gymnastics. That first vault was awesome , the 2nd and 5th passes in the floor exercises was out of this world. The achievement of the highest order in the olympics was absolutely mesmerizing. Thank you coach munihiro Kugimiya in believing that carlos yulo has that highest potential and took that potential to kinetics. Bravo coach, I hope the philippine government recognize that and so as the gymnastics association of the philippines , philippine olympic committee. without the work of mr kugimiya philippines would still be third world gymnastics. also give praise to the Japanes gymnastics for inviting carlos and giving him scholarships.
