Busch Wildlife Sanctuary is a non-profit organization dedicated to the protection and conservation of Florida's wildlife and natural resources.
With a state of the art animal hospital, so far this year they have treated over 6000 animals from 259 different species. After treatments animals need a safe place and time to heal from injuries and illnesses. Rehabilitation is key to the ultimate release and survival of the wildlife here at Busch Wildlife Sanctuary.

However not every animal recovers well enough to be released, those that require help and protection for the rest of their lives transition into the the role of educational ambassador and these are the animals that we will meet here.
