This trail has been on my radar ever since watching Boots on the Ground's video. I had never heard of this trail let alone the place, even though I had driven past it numerous of times on the way to the coast.

It is about 20 miles on the red trail and it is a peaceful relaxing ride. Great views, various surfaces and terrain. Nothing extreme or taxing however the 2 big climbs can be challenging depending on your fitness and whether you have an Ebike.

I love cross country riding and this is where my enjoyment for biking originated. This has been one of my favorite ones to date. It has it all for me and I came back really happy which is a good sign too. It wasnt busy and most of it is one way so even on the downhill sections you will not meet anyone coming in the opposite direction.
