Latest range session on a really hot, humid Texas day. Taking the SOTIC again to 1000 yards, and as always, trying my best to make that first round hit. Subsequent shots were not that great. I thought it was my fundamentals breaking down in the heat, and possibly were, although the wind conditions were continuously variable. The Kestrel wind vane was going crazy, wind was 4mph full-value from the left one second, and 8-10mph quarter value the next, and shifting every 3 or 4 seconds. This range is not maintained very well at the berms, making misses unobservable in the vegetation. In any case, I got some hits, and that's what matters.
