Most people with lower back, butt/glute (piriformis) and sciatica (sciatic nerve) pain are told all the wrong things: "Just do some press-ups, then some figure 4 stretching, and get that nerve gliding." For some, this random approach works... but for most, it makes them much much worse. And the challenging thing is that because people are told to do these things... they stick with it- thinking that even if it's not working or "hurts so good" that it's just par for the course.

In this video, I share multiple ways that you probably don't know you don't know are pinching (compressing or tensioning) your sciatic nerve and keeping you from healing. This occurs in everyday life with certain movements or positions, as well as in the exercises that you're doing.
