Peter Sauer is one of the few people in this country who still produces fireworks himself. On his premises in Gersthofen near Augsburg, he designs firework bombs in the old family tradition, which are also used in his specially composed musical fireworks.
His work requires the utmost caution, as the chemicals he handles are highly explosive. With a great deal of experience and a good dose of humor, he demonstrates his rare craft, which most people simply enjoy and are amazed by.
