Deseret Peak Utah Temple Open House

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is inviting everyone to tour the Deseret Peak Utah Temple during a special open house event. This is a rare chance to see inside one of the Church’s sacred buildings before it is officially dedicated and reserved for Church members only. The open house will take place from Thursday, September 26, to Saturday, October 19, 2024, except for Saturday, October 5, and Sundays. The temple will be open for tours from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. each day.

What to Expect

The open house event begins with a brief video that explains the purpose of temples and their importance to members of the Church. After the video, guests will be guided on a walking tour through the temple, which lasts about 45 minutes. During the tour, visitors can admire the beautiful architecture and peaceful atmosphere designed to help people feel close to God and Jesus Christ.
