My front derailleur bracket got bent when my chain broke. As soon as I tried to straighten it, it sheared off. I was quoted over £1,800 for a replacement (carbon) frame! I ground the remains of the old bracket off and touched up the paintwork on the bare aluminum. Then I fitted an M-Part clamp-on style of mech bracket, all for less than £50.

My YouTube channel was originally created many years ago to share what I did to recover from various health issues. I've since changed its name to 'Ayup Stuggy', something that's more personal to me rather than just diet focused. Ayup (often spelled in various ways!), is a greeting from northern England.
