Went fishing on Simcoe yesterday in blizzard like conditions, wind was 45 km/hr with gusts up to 70 km/hr. Visibility was decent when we started out, after about an hour the weather took a turn for the worse. Setting up the portable hut in winds like these proved to be a challenge, and felt like we were going to take off and fly away even with the ice pegs and straps fully tied down. Couldn't see more then 5 ft in front of me on the way back to shore!!! Be careful out there!
