Mount Etna, one of the world’s most active volcanoes, put on a spectacular eruption show this week.

Eruptions could be seen from one of its craters, with lava flowing down the 3,320m-high volcano in Sicily.

Lava fountains and flows were captured on video amid intensifying volcanic activity.
