In June 2020, our filmmaker Roman Khomlyak, along with his second operator Mykhailo Feshchak, embarked on a filming journey in the Columbia River Gorge area, including the Rowena Plateau. During their exploration, they discovered the campground in Memaloose State Park, which proved to be remarkably comfortable. While staying there, Roman noticed the breathtaking view right from their location. Inspired by the scenery, he decided to set up a campfire, took out his iPhone 13 Pro Max, and crafted a perfect vertical video for relaxation.

Located in Mosier, Oregon, off Interstate 84, the campground provides 46 campsites, accommodating both RVs and tents. While offering scenic views of the Columbia River Gorge, please note that river access is not permitted due to an active railroad line. Facilities include restrooms, showers, and a dump station, but water may be unavailable until mid to late March. Activities include hiking and biking trails, wildlife watching, and the popular Mosier Plateau Trail. Keep in mind that only one vehicle is included with standard fees, and an extra fee applies for additional vehicles. Please be aware that Memaloose State Park's campground is CLOSED for the season, running typically from March 18th to October 31st.
