Everyone meet our newest rescue Hallux!
He’s will likely be a amber colored domestic red fox. He was a breeder surrender and urgently needed our help! He’s missing all his toes on one back foot, and has just one toe remaining on the other.

His injuries were likely caused from his mother overgrooming him. This can happen when fox parents are stressed. It’s also possible that his siblings caused the injuries by playing to roughly. Rarely, Fox kits can severely injure or even kill each other due to their rough housing, from a very young age.

He will soon be transferred to Clevyr Creatures Fox Sanctuary but while he is in our care, we are asking for DONATIONS to cover his veterinary needs and care costs!!
