Avatar: The Last Airbender & Legend of Korra BENDERS: Weak to Powerful

Nickelodeon’s Avatar: The Last Airbender and its sequel series The Legend of Korra introduced an exciting fantasy world where some are born with the ability to bend one of the four classic elements - water, earth, fire, and air. Each nation and element is unified by the Avatar, the one who can control all four elements. There’s so much to like about the world of Avatar, but the most unique aspects of both shows are the amazing fight scenes. Not only are they beautifully animated and stunning to watch, but they also give us insight into each character’s strengths and weaknesses as a fighter. As such, we think it’s time to examine who are the greatest warriors and masters of the elements, and who need to spend a bit more time in training.
