She was hungry for perfection. She would rather be beautiful than alive. She tried to share her life with bulimia, but bulimia took it all.
Colette Stolman lost several clothing sizes, a boyfriend, and the trust of her family members. And, thanks to New Hope Eating Recovery Center, what she thought was her coping mechanism, her direction to perfection.
Now she is forced to gain back what she lost.

IMPORTANT While the things that the characters do in this video are real things that real people do, this is a fictional story. I am in no way trying to glamorize eating disorders. The purpose of this video is to educate rather than entertain. I have come to find that due to a lack of experience on the creators’ parts, the majority of LPS short films about eating disorders are not accurate. They tend to incorrectly portray recovery and the factors behind an eating disorder. I hope viewers will take into account that when trying to address a serious topic without experience or prior knowledge of the topic in question, it can be viewed as problematic in the eyes of the experienced.
