This month’s demonstrator was Tracey Lee, one of our members. While only turning a few years, her craft skills are excellent not to mention her artist abilities. She is an international woodturner as she exhibited at a Woodturning symposium in France. She discussed and demonstrated the process for making her “Sunflower in a Basket” plate She addressed the design and turning of the plate as well as demonstrated how to use the burner pens and the micro carver to create the sunflower effect.
