With thanks to my friends on a musician's forum for their fine suggestions, here is "Master #2" of my original blues song, "I Went Down to the River."

Subtle changes here - not in the performance as such, but in the recording techniques I used to present the guitar especially, but the overall (guitar/voice) sound mix as well.

The guitar, for those interested, is a Supro Black Holiday. It was played directly into my Mac computer and the "amp" sonorities were created there, along with the voice recording and mix, using the Garageband application.
